About Me

Welcome to my website

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm a UK-based writer and storyteller whose work spans novels, film, theatre and photography. My debut thriller, Pandora's Secret, explores conspiracy, power and the secrets people choose to keep. When I'm not writing or directing, I'm usually thinking about cake.

The story behind Pandora's Secret grew from an idea I wanted to explore: how far someone will go to do good.

My late father worked in MI6*, and I spent much of my childhood surrounded by people doing similar work for other countries. The human cost behind such work- the service, sacrifice, personal consequences, and costs of living inside a lie built for the greater good- was almost incomprehensible when I was younger and fascinating now. Pandora's Secret explores these ideas, but as a political thriller. Anderson's signature move with the rolled magazine, spoilers!, is something my dad taught me.

An Owl Called Pollyanna

Meet Pollyanna, an owl like no other.

A number of years ago, I wrote a children's illustrated picture book under the pen name Anser Pilosus - [which is bad Latin for a nickname my brother calls me, meaning 'Hairy Goose']

It's a classic large-format book featuring the beautiful illustrations of Genn Lotysh, an amazingly talented graphic artist from Ukraine. The artwork's distinctive, lush colour palette captures an enchanting moonlit wood where the story unfolds.

It features 32 original illustrations, complete with woodland figures and characters, and is written in rhyme and rhythm.

It's designed to be read aloud by or to kids ages 6-7.

You can learn more about the book and buy a copy with free 2nd-class delivery by clicking the book cover.
